I laugh every time I see this. This is the guy Paulette fell in love with. We lived in Modesto, Ca on Orangeburg Ave. We bought our first home for $32,000 with a payment of $350 if I remember. The down payment came from credit cards. Notice the green shag rug and the wood paneling. We looked at a house that had a conversation pit. Remember those?

I had hair in those days, and those boots. They were so heavy. I rode my bike to work. That was 80 lbs ago.

Haha! Great picture. I think every generation has those embarassing eras. I look back at my hair in high school and I shudder, though I swear I was "cool" back then. Sigh... Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

You are not only very brave to post this photo but you must also be very sure of yourself; comfortable with yourself to admit this. Absolutely hilarious picture. I'm thankful that all of my 70's photos of me were when I was a little kid so any ridiculousness can be blamed on my parents.
