Every day I read Micheal Arrington at Techcrunch
to discover new Web
2.0 companies and their products. Last night he hosted the
third
Techcrunch BBQ. I would have attended except I live 3000
miles away.
Dave Winer gave a rousing
keynote that got everyone fired up. People are calling it the Flickr
of keynotes. The always cool Marc
Canter
and his wife were in costume (picture also shows Keith Teare). Robert
Scoble was here for hours and barely left the back room where we were
showing raw demos of the really young companies, including edgeio.
The pictures came from attendees who posted them to Flickr.
Kevin
Burton (working on the stove) demonstrated TailRank.
I am a Beta Tester. He is offering
beta
invites for a $20 donation. He wants to fund his
startup from donations and advertising.
I started this post with
Flock,
but it too difficult to use at this point. I do want to make
it my primary blogging tool but I could not get it to sign on
to my any of my three blogs, nor could I find a spell checker.
I will stick to Nvu for the moment.
